An Apprenticeship combines on-the-job paid work with off-the-job training components which can take up to 3-4 years to complete (full-time or part-time). Apprenticeships lead to Nationally Recognised Qualifications which allow you to get your foot in the door of your chosen industry!
A Traineeship combines on-the-job paid work with off-the-job training components which can take up to 1-2 years to complete (full-time or part-time). Traineeships lead to Nationally Recognised Qualifications which allow you to get your foot in the door of your chosen industry!

Of course! School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships are available to those 15 years or older (and still in school).

School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships are the best gate-way to a successful career after school. You complete your SACE points, while obtaining a Nationally Recognised Qualification with paid employment - you can't get better than that!

Once you have completed school, you will either move into a full-time Apprenticeship/Traineeship, or can remain as a part-time Apprentice/Trainee.

mteSA offer a range of services for our employees, some including the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), and Maxxia Salary Packaging.

The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) gives you assistance in resolving issues of any kind, whether they are personal or related to your job. With no stigma linked to the process, you can feel safe scheduling a private appointment and addressing the problems. All documents mteSA views from EAP do not state any personal information from you.

Maxxia Salary Packaging allows you to pay for certain everyday expenses with money from your salary before tax is taken out. This could allow you to pay LESS tax and INCREASE your disposable income!

At mteSA, we manage and cover all administration work including; wages, superannuation, PAYG, workcover claims, & WH&S reporting requirements in relation to your Apprentice or Trainee.
To advertise jobs on the mteSA website, you must contact our Field Officers to organise the job ad.

To become an Apprentice or Trainee with mteSA, you must contact us regarding the type of Apprenticeship/Traineeship you are looking for. We will connect you with your local Field Officer and begin matching you with businesses looking for your desired training choice.
