You have reached a very important part of your induction.  The next few pages will outline mteSA's employer responsibilities.  They will also outline your employee responsibilities and the conditions of your employment.  

 

 

To get started, navigate below and enter your personal details.  We need you to enter these again so that we can add them to your employee induction files.  Take your time to read through the information in this final induction step.  You will need to read our mteSA policy documents, think about how they apply to you and placement with your Host Employer.

It is important to understand the connections between you, mteSA and your Host Employer.  You may be asking, how does it all connect? As an Apprentice or Trainee with mteSA, you are employed with us and receive your on-the-job training and experience with your Host Employer.  As an mteSA employee on a Contract of Training, you represent our organisation while you perform your work with your Host Employer.

While conducting work with mteSA and your Host Employer, you are required to keep confidential information acquired by you during the course of your duties that is regarded as the exclusive property of your employers.

All mteSA employees are required to conduct their work in-line with Australian Privacy Laws.  Information that we have about you is kept safe and secure.  You and mteSA must adhere to the policy guidelines before providing information to third parties.  Please take time to read through the policy before you complete agreement with the statements.

mteSA employees are required to undertake a drug screen and/ or alcohol when involved in an on-the-job accident or injury in circumstances that suggest possible influence of a substance.  We require your consent to conduct drug and alcohol testing in these situations.

Workplaces around Australia consist of our physical offices as well as the digital spaces in which we work and interact daily. In this section you will become aware of the mteSA Social Media Policy and have an option to provide your agreement for us to use your photo in promotional or marketing activities.

mteSA use photographs to identify all Apprentices and Trainees for their employee records. There may also be times that mteSA will take photographs of Apprentices and Trainees whilst they are working. These photographs may be used on social media, the mteSA website and other mteSA marketing material. 

 


By providing your agreement for this photo-release, you are giving mteSA the permission to take photos of you whilst employed with mteSA as well as giving mteSA permission to use and publish these photos as required for marketing purposes and general use. This release assigns the ownership of the photos to mteSA.
