Congratulations on your successful appointment with mteSA!  We are so pleased that you are joining our team.  Now that you are starting with us, we'd like to settle you in so that you know more about us, understand your employee requirements and know how we are here to support you. 

Your employee induction is a mix of online components and meeting with your Field Officer.  At the meeting with your Field Officer, you will complete several important documents and cover processes that support you during your employment.  The online component will support you with onboarding and cover the foundation information you need to understand more about mteSA, your employee responsibilities and mteSA's employer responsibilities.

The online induction program aims to help orient you with mteSA so that you know about the organisation employing you.  It will also help you to feel comfortable by learning how mteSA employees are expected to conduct their work.   The online components consists of three (3) short steps:

1. OnBoarded Payroll Essentials

As part of the induction process, you will need to provide personal details so that mteSA can set up and process your payroll.  The OnBoarded Payroll Essentials portal is emailed to you once you are assessed as the successful candidate with us.  Please ensure that you have completed the following tasks:

  • Tax File Number Declaration
  • Superannuation Choice Form
  • Bank Account Number and BSB for your pay
  • Update Personal Information

 If you have outstanding tasks, please complete them as soon as possible.  

 

Salary Packaging - mteSA Employee Benefits

2. Your Employee Details Form

Please scroll down and complete the Employee Details Form.  There are three (3) sections to complete.  You will need to refer to the following documents:

  • Drivers License (and other relevant licenses)
  • Copies of previous Nationally Accredited Qualifications (for example, Certificate II in Business)

Please be ready to take copies of relevant documents (images or scans) as you will need to upload them where indicated on the form.

Why does mteSA need this information?

In the event of an accident or incident, mteSA will ensure that your emergency contact and next of kin are informed so that they can be there to support you.

Why does mteSA need this information?

If you are commencing an apprenticeship or traineeship with us, mteSA will work with relevant Government Departments and Vocational Education Training providers to get you started.  Eligibility criteria can apply to traineeship and apprenticeship programs.  Your educational background, including your USI, support mteSA to do the administration for you and help you to participate in these programs.

 

If you are entering into a building and construction industry trade, you may require a CITB Number.  If you need support with this, please contact your Field Officer who can support you Apply for a CITB Number.
