2023 mteSA Excellence Awards Night

2023 mteSA NOMINATIONS NOW CLOSED!

The mteSA Awards for 2023 will be held on Friday 8th September at the Bridges Event Centre, Murray Bridge. The award categories are the same as the last two years and nominees can be nominated in more than one category.

The 2023 Awards are a celebration of the fabulous work our Apprentices, Trainees, Labour Hire and Full-time employees do throughout the year and are a reflection of their commitment to their Host Employer and their industry.

mteSA will present 16 outstanding award winners. The winners will be chosen for their dedication and commitment to their roles and their Host Employers.

  •   First Year Trainee Excellence Award
  •   Second Year Trainee Excellence Award
  •   Labour Hire Employee of the Year
  •   Full-Time Employee of the Year
  •   School-Based Apprentice of the Year
  •   School-Based Trainee of the Year

Judging Panel Categories

  •   Chairman's Apprentice Award
  •   Chairman's Trainee Award
  •   Apprentice Excellence of the Year Award
  •   Trainee Excellence of the Year Award
  •   Building Trades Excellence Award
  •   Engineering / Mechanical Trades Excellence Award

Nominee Assessment Criteria

Candidates are chosen for demonstrating outstanding achievement in a variety of areas, such as:

  •   Participation in their nominee interview
  •   Review of host employer reports/interview
  •   Record of training assessment results
  •   Training progression and trainer interview

Conditions of Entry

  • Nominations must be made via the nomination form
  • Nominees must be working in the category for which they are nominated
  • Nominees must have completed six (6) months of placement for which they are nominated
  • Organisations can nominate more than one person
  • Nominating Host Employers agree to be interviewed and seek confirmation of the same from the nominee
